About Me
Monique Burns, PhD, ACSW, LCSW, LSCSW is Owner/Clinical Therapist/Legal Expert Consultant of PSU, LLC. Dr. Burns provides services for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families on diverse issues related to depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, job stress, relationships, and transitions due to: separation, divorce, work, school or other.
Since 2010, Dr. Burns has served as a legal expert in child welfare matters and social work malpractice cases working with attorneys across the United States, consulting on 68 matters in 21 states.
Dr. Burns is also a recognized presenter on clinical topics ranging from working with the sexually abused child, self-care, and ethics to administrative topics of organizational learning, organizational change, and supervision skills. Most recently having presented on Self-Care and Ethics.
